KEV Predictions
How VULONE predicts which CVEs are likely to appear in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog.
What is KEV?
CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog lists CVEs with confirmed active exploitation. Inclusion in KEV carries a binding operational directive for US federal agencies — and is a key signal for security teams globally.
How VULONE predicts KEV
VULONE's prediction model evaluates multiple signals: exploit maturity, ransomware group usage, dark web chatter volume, PoC availability, and historical inclusion patterns. Predictions are scored 0–1 and updated daily.
Using KEV predictions
- Prioritize patching for CVEs with KEV scores above 0.7
- Feed predictions into your vulnerability management workflow
